Latham & Watkins Advises DB Insurance on Completed US$1.65 Billion Acquisition of Fortegra

Cross-border team represented the Korean non-life insurer in its purchase of the US-based specialty insurance company.
DB Insurance has successfully closed its approximately US$1.65 billion (approximately KRW 2.3 trillion) acquisition of a 100% stake in The Fortegra Group, Inc., a US specialty insurer from Tiptree Inc. and Warburg Pincus.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented DB Insurance in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York partners Gary Boss, Kirsten Gaeta, and Andrew Elken and Boston counsel Andrew Moosmann, with associates Teresa Ella Wendel and Maddy Berg.
