Firm Honored as “Champion for Justice”

June 2, 2022
OneJustice recognizes our longtime pro bono service.

As a legal aid innovation lab, OneJustice develops and implements novel approaches to increasing legal services to those most in need in California, regardless of location or ability to pay. Our firm has worked with OneJustice on such innovations as the Justice Bus Project, which sends teams of attorney and law student volunteers to set up free legal clinics for low-income Californians living in rural and isolated communities. During the pandemic, our lawyers helped staff virtual legal clinics, advising low-income veterans, vulnerable seniors, children with disabilities, low-wage workers, immigrant youth, and families.

We were recently recognized by OneJustice as a 2022 Champion for Justice, for working “tirelessly to promote access to justice throughout the state.” Latham began working with OneJustice in 2012.

“Millions of low-income Californians face myriad legal problems each year. We are proud to partner with OneJustice to help ensure access to justice, and honored to be recognized for our pro bono contributions,” said associate Ted Bantle, who accepted the award on Latham’s behalf.
