Prior to joining Latham and during law school, Ted served as Commissioner for the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Pittsburgh. In this role, he mediated and facilitated regulatory negotiations, employment disputes, collective bargaining negotiations, and other matters. He also consulted in country on numerous international projects relating to dispute resolution. Before his time at the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service, Ted worked as a Field Examiner for the National Labor Relations Board.
