Latham & Watkins Advises MaxSolar on €155 Million Infrastructure Financing

Finance team represents leading independent power producer in the transaction.

Latham & Watkins LLP has advised MaxSolar, a leading German independent power producer, on a €155 million infrastructure financing for the expansion of its photovoltaic and battery energy storage (BESS) portfolio of approximately 1.3 GW. The portfolio comprises 912 MW of solar PV capacity, of which 440 MW is already in operation, as well as 379 MW of standalone and co-located battery storage, of which 25 MW of co-located capacity is operational. The financing is provided by funds managed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, a global fund manager with Danish roots specialising in investments in green energy infrastructure.
