Latham & Watkins Advises Battery Ventures on Acquisition of Majority Stake in Sustainability at Work Group
Latham & Watkins LLP has advised the tech-focused investment firm Battery Ventures on the acquisition of a majority stake in the sustainability at Work Group. The group develops and administers digital certification systems and provides consulting services across critical supply chains. The sellers Jan Henke and Norbert Schmitz will continue to remain invested.
The Latham team was led by Frankfurt corporate partner Leif U. Schrader and associate Dennis Amiri, with Boston partner Nate Amory and Frankfurt partner Christina Mann, and associates Nils Horst, Sophie Thieme, and Blanka Fehn. Advice was also provided on banking and private credit matters by London partner Charles Armstrong, with associates Mark Walker, Claire McCloskey, Bryce McCarthy, and Caroline Bugiel; and on tax matters by counsel Daniel Hiemer, with associate Henning Kleymann.
