Latham Advises Goldman Sachs Alternatives on Investment in Numantec
Latham & Watkins has advised Goldman Sachs Alternatives on its acquisition of a majority stake in Numantec, a leading global developer, manufacturer, and distributor of infusion medical devices.
Building on Numantec’s track record of above-market growth, comprehensive product portfolio and track record in acquisitions, Goldman Sachs Alternatives will partner with management on Numantec’s next stage of growth, focused on scaling its existing footprint and product portfolio, acquiring and developing new products, and expanding into new geographies and channels.
Headquartered in Viadana, Italy, Numantec develops, manufactures, and distributes infusion medical devices designed to enhance patient care and safety. Numantec employs approximately 600 people and operates seven state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities across Europe and the United States. The company serves the full infusion care pathway, from vascular access devices and injection systems to elastomeric and electronic pumps and pre-filled syringes. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in Q4 2026.
