Latham & Watkins Advises Orange on the Proposed Acquisition of SFR
Latham & Watkins advises Orange, one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators, in connection with the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Altice France for the acquisition of SFR, France’s second‑largest telecommunications operator, by a consortium comprising Orange, Bouygues Telecom, and Free–iliad Group.
The proposed transaction values the relevant Altice France assets at a total enterprise value of €20.35 billion. This is one of the largest industrial transactions in the European telecommunications sector.
The transaction remains subject to the approval of the competent regulatory authorities.
