Infrastructure M&A team supports Commerz Real on seed investment of new infrastructure fund.
Latham & Watkins LLP has advised Commerz Real on the strategic acquisition of a stake in wireless communication tower operator ATC Europe on behalf of its newly launched infrastructure fund Infravest. Commerz Real, in partnership with Allianz Global Investors, acquired the stake from Allianz insurance companies.
ATC Europe owns more than 30,000 towers across Germany, France, and Spain, making it one of the leading wireless communication tower operators in Europe. ATC Europe is the European arm of American Tower Corporation.
