Latham & Watkins Advises Synthesia on US$200 Million Series E and Secondary Transaction
Synthesia, the AI video platform transforming how organizations create and share knowledge, has announced that it has raised a US$200 million Series E funding round at a US$4 billion valuation. The round is led by existing investor Google Ventures (GV), with participation from Evantic, the venture fund founded by former Sequoia partner Matt Miller, and Hedosophia. Other existing investors NVentures (NVIDIA’s venture capital arm), Accel, Kleiner Perkins, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), PSP Growth, Air Street Capital, FirstMark, and MMC Ventures also participated, reaffirming their commitment to Synthesia’s long-term vision. As part of the transaction, Synthesia will also facilitate an employee secondary sale at a US$4 billion valuation.
