Latham & Watkins Advises StepStone Real Estate on US$250 Million Continuation Vehicle for Senior Living Assets
StepStone Real Estate (SRE), the real estate arm of global private markets investment firm StepStone Group (Nasdaq: STEP), and sector specialist Blue Moon Capital have formed a US$250 million continuation vehicle to recapitalize a portfolio of five senior living assets in the US.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised StepStone Real Estate in the transaction with a corporate team led by New York partners Michael Haas and Mark Semotiuk, and San Diego partner James Mann, with associates Avery Rux, Sahra Phillips, Gina Garrett, and Ariel Redlich, with assistance from Carela Mendez. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Gregory Hannibal and Los Angeles counsel William Kessler, with associate Nicholas Sun.
