Latham & Watkins Advises Guggenheim Investments on New Private Debt Vehicle

Multidisciplinary team led by members of the firm’s Investment Funds Practice represented the global asset management and investment advisory division of Guggenheim Partners in the transaction.
Guggenheim Investments (Guggenheim) announced the closing of a US$250 million vehicle that will invest in Guggenheim’s private debt strategy managing an existing portfolio of loans and contributing to the platform’s continued growth.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Guggenheim Investments in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York Investment Funds partners Oliver Prakash-Jenkins and Mark Proctor and Washington, D.C. funds regulatory partner Jamie Lynn Walter, with associates Mario Richards, Paul Chan Domingo, and Tim Cummings. Advice was provided on secondaries matters by New York partner John Kelley, with associate Eric Czubiak, and on tax matters by New York partner Michael Milazzo.
