Latham & Watkins Advises Triton on Stonepeak's Acquisition of Co-Control Stake in IFCO

July 10, 2025
Cross-practice team represents European investment firm in the transaction.

Latham & Watkins LLP has advised the existing investors on the sale of an approximately 50% co-controlling stake in IFCO Group to infrastructure investor Stonepeak, as well as Triton, a leading European mid-market sector-specialist investor, in its reinvestment in the IFCO Group. IFCO Group is a global leader in reusable packaging solutions for fresh foods.

Triton’s current co-investor in the IFCO Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, will exit IFCO Group upon closing while Triton will continue as a committed partner to the company by way of a reinvestment. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
