Latham & Watkins Advises Demant on Agreement to Acquire KIND Group
Latham & Watkins LLP has advised Demant, a world-leading hearing healthcare group, on its agreement to acquire KIND Group, one of the world’s leading retailers of hearing aids with around 650 hearing care clinics. The transaction, valued at €700 million on a cash- and debt-free basis, marks Demant’s largest acquisition to date and will significantly expand its global hearing care business footprint to over 4,500 clinics worldwide.
The acquisition is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, with closing expected in the second half of 2025. It supports Demant’s strategy to expand its global position in hearing care, particularly in Germany, one of the world’s largest markets.
