A cross-border Latham & Watkins team has advised the private equity fund Waterland and its German packaging specialist portfolio company, Carton Group, on the acquisition of Europoligrafico S.p.A., an Italian leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality packaging solutions.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Carton Group in the transaction with a corporate team led by Milan partner Giovanni Sandicchi and Munich partner Rainer Traugott, with associates Francesco Loizzi and Lorenzo Cappelli. Advice was also provided on finance matters by Munich partner Thomas Weitkamp, with associate Philipp Guggeis and Milan associates Erika Brini Raimondi and Simona di Marcantonio; and on regulatory matters by Milan partner Cesare Milani.
