Los Angeles Office Leaders Named Among Top 100 Local Lawyers

Two Latham partners have been named by the Los Angeles Business Journal among its 2023 Top 100 Lawyers, honored for their legal achievements, community involvement, and impacts on the profession. Jeff Bjork, the Los Angeles Office Managing Partner based in the firm’s downtown office, and Ana O’Brien, the Deputy LA Office Managing Partner based in the Century City office, have long records of client successes in their practices that were highlighted in their published profiles.

Bjork, a former Global Vice Chair of the firm’s Restructuring & Special Situations Practice, was cited for his industry-leading restructuring and bankruptcy practice, in which he represents public and private companies, creditors, and investors in all aspects of restructuring matters.

O’Brien, a member of the Transactional Tax Practice, also serves as Global Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) Industry Group. She advises clients on federal taxation of REITs, corporations, and partnerships in a variety of US and international contexts.
