Leading Energy and Infrastructure M&A Partner To Join Latham & Watkins in Frankfurt

Arrival of Alexander Stefan Rieger will add further depth to the firm’s market-leading transactional capabilities in Europe.

Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Alexander “Stefan” Rieger will join the firm’s Frankfurt office as a partner in the M&A and Private Equity Practice. Rieger advises infrastructure funds, pension funds, private equity investors, project developers, and insurance and other companies on a variety of complex, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure, including digital infrastructure, gas and renewables, transportation, utility, and industrial parks sectors. He also has a wealth of experience negotiating complex commercial contracts.

Rieger will join Latham & Watkins from Hogan Lovells. He received his legal degree from Goethe-University Frankfurt and completed both his first and second state exams in Hesse.
