German Partners Named 40 Under 40 in Germany

German partners Anne Löhner and Maximilian Platzer have been recognized by JUVE among its top 40 Under 40 lawyers. For this ranking, JUVE selected 40 lawyers under the age of 40 whom JUVE recommends clients should watch for their ability to shape the future legal market. The publication interviewed all honored lawyers to gain insights beyond their legal practice.

Anne Löhner represents clients in complex commercial disputes before German courts and international arbitral tribunals. She guides market-leading companies and private equity funds through all aspects of bet-the-company litigation. Her practice encompasses mass actions, post-M&A and shareholder litigation, and controversies involving cross-border components or multi-jurisdictional parallel proceedings. The publication notes “Löhner's landmark epic Toll Collect arbitration. Latham acted for Daimler against the Federal Republic of Germany”.

Maximilian Platzer advises private equity investors and corporate entities on German and cross-border M&A transactions and public takeovers. His practice covers all aspects of the investment life cycle from the acquisition through to exit. The publication notes “Platzer's ongoing advice to the firm's core clients such as Hg, Permira and Triton on transactions.
