Latham & Watkins Advises DBAG on Sale of Shares in Heytex

Firm represents longstanding client on sale of shares in leading textiles manufacturer.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised DBAG Fund V, advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), on the sale of its stake in Heytex, a leading manufacturer of technical textiles serving various end markets. DBAG’s shares in the company are to be sold to Bencis, an investor with offices in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

Latham regularly advises DBAG and its portfolio companies on transactions, most recently on an investment in freiheit.com technologies GmbH and on the acquisition of Bergert Group by Deutsche Infrastruktur und Netzgesellschaft mbH.
