Latham & Watkins Launches Virtual Antitrust and Competition Law Program
Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to launch the firm’s newest Virtual Experience Program (VEP) on antitrust and competition law. The free virtual program gives the business, academic, and legal communities the opportunity to participate in a merger review on a market-defining merger-acquisition matter and also learn about the nature of work at a global law firm. Participants will analyze a document as part of a merger review, advise on the antitrust implications, and prepare to interview a key witness, to assess exposure. The experience is hosted on Forage, an innovative, open-access platform that connects users with companies and law firms.

With the launch of the Antitrust VEP, Latham now offers five VEPs on Forage: M&A, White Collar, Emerging Companies, Banking, and Antitrust. Each program immerses participants in navigating legal issues in a transaction or litigation matter.
Since launching in October 2019, the firm’s Virtual Experience Programs have reached nearly 40,000 participants worldwide, providing equal access to education and high quality learning resources to students who otherwise may not have access to the inner workings of the legal world.
