Latham & Watkins Advises Manchester United’s New Principal Shirt Partner

Market leading global media, sports and entertainment team represents global tech company in deal with one of the world’s most popular sports teams.

Latham & Watkins advised global technology company TeamViewer on its five year agreement to become Manchester United’s new principal shirt sponsor. The partnership will begin in the 2021/2022 season.

The agreement will bring together one of the world’s most popular and successful sports teams with one of Europe’s fastest-growing software companies.

The Latham team was led by entertainment, sports and media partner Patrick Mitchell and M&A partner Nikolaos Paschos; with support from entertainment, sports and media associates Stewart Robinson and Katie Henshall; M&A counsel Sebastian Goslar, and associate Jörg Ruff.
