Joel Mack, the former Global Chair of the Environmental Transaction Support Practice, provides more than 30 years of experience advising on the transactional, environmental, and regulatory issues associated with all sectors of the oil and gas, power, mining, and chemical industries, in addition to the development, financing, and entitlements for telecommunications and other industrial and public infrastructure facilities.

Mr. Mack counsels numerous clients on Federal Superfund (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and various federal and state laws, both in litigation and compliance matters.
Mr. Mack has extensive experience handling a wide variety of infrastructure, energy, and environmental projects, including mergers and acquisitions, permitting, development, and financing of major infrastructure projects (including oil and gas, alternative energy, chemical, industrial, telecommunications, and other linear facilities, solid waste, and hazardous waste facilities), compliance counseling, M&A, climate change, project finance, and real estate transactions.
