Jay Sadanandan is a partner in the firm’s Finance Department and the former Office Managing Partner of Latham & Watkins’ London office.
Ms. Sadanandan is a member of Latham's market-leading Banking Practice and she has extensive experience advising sponsors, companies, borrowers, financial institutions, and lenders on a wide range of transactions, including complex cross-border acquisition and leveraged financings, asset-based loans, bridge financings, investment grade loans, post-IPO facilities, and other secured lending transactions. In addition, Ms. Sadanandan frequently works with Latham's US team on US-European financings and high yield team on bank/bond financings.

- Permira on financing arrangements relating to acquiring a majority stake in Quotient Sciences, a UK-based pharmaceutical company
- Walnut Bidco plc on the bank and bond financing for the public-to-private acquisition of Oriflame, a leading beauty company based in more than 60 countries, by members of the af Jochnick family
- Blackstone and CVC on first lien/second lien financing its £2.96 billion offer for Paysafe Group plc, a leading global provider of end-to-end payment solutions; this deal represents the largest public-to-private deal under the UK Takeover Code since 2010
- Permira on the LBO financing for the acquisition of Exclusive Networks, a leading cybersecurity and cloud distributor
- PAI Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation on its bank, bridge, and bond financing for the public-to-private acquisition of Refresco, the world’s largest independent bottler of beverages for retailers and A-brands
- CVC on the LBO financing for the acquisition of Breitling AG, a leading independent, family-owned manufacturer of Swiss luxury watches and an internationally renowned premium brand
- Fire (BC) S.p.A. (a Bain Capital portfolio company) on the bank and bond financing for the acquisition of Italmatch Chemicals S.p.A., a global specialty chemical additive manufacturer
- Permira on the LBO financing for the acquisition of the Corin Group, an international orthopedic implant business
- Onex on the LBO financing for the acquisition of the Parkdean Group, a leading UK operator of caravan holiday parks
- A consortium of private equity firms, Cinven, Permira, and Mid-Europa Partners, on the LBO financing for the acquisition of Allegro Group, Poland's largest online marketplace, and its subsequent refinancing
- CVC on the LBO financing for the acquisition of Sisal Group S.p.A., a leading operator in the Italian gaming market and the number one provider of payment services
- Hellman & Friedman on bank and bond financing for the acquisition of Securitas Direct Verisure Group, a leading European provider of professionally monitored home alarm systems
- Permira on bridge, bank, and bond facilities for the acquisition of GFKL Financial Services, a leading provider of receivables management services in Germany, and its subsequent bolt-on acquisitions
