Gregory Swartz is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins, a member of the Litigation & Trial Department, and a member of the firm’s Associates Committee.

Mr. Swartz advises clients on complex commercial disputes, intellectual property matters, and regulatory enforcement proceedings. In particular, Mr. Swartz has experience in:

  • Contract disputes
  • Unfair competition claims
  • Corporate governance and partnership disputes
  • Government investigations and enforcement
  • Licensing agreement litigation
  • Trademark litigation
  • California Environmental Quality Act litigation

Mr. Swartz has represented a diverse array of clients in industries ranging from entertainment, sports, and media to energy and retail and consumer products. He has experience researching various legal topics, facilitating discovery, drafting complaints, answers, motions, and other briefs, and taking depositions.

During law school, Mr. Swartz worked for Judge Christina A. Snyder of the Central District of California and the US Department of State. He also served as a senior editor of the Columbia Law Review.
