Dylan Carroll is an associate in the Houston office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Investment Funds Practice.

Mr. Carroll represents both private fund sponsors and investors in structuring, investing in, and operating a broad range of private investment funds, joint ventures, and other strategic relationships.

Mr. Carroll regularly advises a full spectrum of sponsors, from first-time fund managers to global institutional asset managers as well as an array of institutional investors, including strategic corporates and family offices.

He helps sponsors with their formation, global fundraising, capital deployment, and operating activities across a range of strategies, including:

  • Real estate
  • Infrastructure
  • Credit/Debt
  • Energy

In addition to his fund work, he also advises sponsors on bespoke capital formation, capital preservation, and strategic acquisition and sale transactions, including:

  • Co-investment funds
  • Permanent capital vehicles, evergreen funds, and open-ended managed accounts
  • Joint ventures and other strategic partnerships
  • GP-led secondary transactions
  • Internal sponsor structuring and spin-outs
