Don Stokes advises on complex energy and infrastructure project development, investment, and finance transactions across Asia.

Don draws on more than a decade of on-the-ground experience advising on digital infrastructure and telecoms, renewable and conventional power, and gas development and transportation projects throughout the Asia-Pacific region. 

Don has particular experience acting for sponsors (neoclouds, NCPs, and national champions) and financiers on the procurement and financing of GPU-as-a-Service and data center projects throughout Asia. 

He has worked on groundbreaking deals involving LNG-to-power and renewable energy investments, throughout Asia and especially Vietnam. He advises financial sponsors investing in digital infrastructure and renewable energy portfolios across the region. 

Qualified to practice English law (since 2001) and New York law, Don has practiced in Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Tokyo, London, and New York for over 25 years. He has been based in Asia since 2010.

  • Arsari Group, a diversified Indonesian family-owned investment platform, on the financing and joint venture with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison to form PT Infra Fiber Teknologi, a leading independent digital fiber infrastructure platform in Indonesia
