Antongiulio Scialpi is a partner in the Milan office. He represents Italian and international clients in leveraged finance and debt capital markets matters, with a particular focus on acquisition financings and public to private transactions.

Mr. Scialpi delivers practical and commercially driven counsel to a range of lenders and borrowers, including commercial banks, investment banks, private debt funds, private equity firms, and corporate clients. He advises clients throughout all stages of a financing, from the initial structuring stages to the negotiation of financing agreements to closing.

An internationally renowned finance practitioner, Mr. Scialpi regularly helps clients structure and execute their most complex financings. He brings particular experience navigating financings of public to private transactions. Drawing on his understanding of the needs of different parties in a transaction, Mr, Scialpi facilitates closings in an expeditious manner. 

Mr. Scialpi serves on Latham’s Pro Bono Committee in Milan. His pro bono work includes advising nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations seeking assistance on contract and bylaw reviews. He also handles a variety of civil rights and human rights matters.
