Megan Alessi is a tax associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. She represents private and public companies in connection with executive compensation and employee benefits matters, primarily in the context of mergers and acquisitions or other corporate transactions.
Ms. Alessi regularly drafts and negotiates employment, severance, and change in control agreements and equity and non-equity compensation plans and award agreements, as well as the employee benefits provisions of acquisition agreements. She also prepares the executive compensation disclosure for proxy statements and other securities filings and advises on other tax and corporate law issues associated with executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
