Latham & Watkins advises Elior Group on €550 million senior notes issue
Latham & Watkins advised Elior Group, one of the world’s leading operators in catering and support services and listed on Euronext Paris (Compartment A), in its return to the bond market.
On July 8, 2021, Elior Group completed an issuance of €550 million in senior notes maturing in 2026 with a fixed interest rate of 3.750%.
This offering represents Elior Group's return to the bond market since its refinancing in 2014. The notes will be guaranteed by certain subsidiaries of Elior Group in France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. It is expected that the gross proceeds of the offering will be used, together with the proceeds of a new syndicated loan, to repay Elior Group’s existing syndicated loan, to fund its general corporate purposes and to pay fees and expenses related to the transaction.
Latham & Watkins advised Elior Group in connection with the offering, with a capital markets team in Paris led by partners Thomas Margenet-Baudry and Roberto Reyes Gaskin, assisted by Lauren Wilson. Partner Xavier Renard, assisted by associate Clémence Morel, advised on tax matters. Latham & Watkins teams also advised on Spanish, Italian and English law aspects of the transaction.
