Sylvia Zhang is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Sylvia advises financial institutions, private equity sponsors, asset managers, and corporate issuers on a wide range of financing transactions, including securitization, structured finance, royalty-backed financings, credit facilities, and other secured lending arrangements. She has particular experience with:

  • Digital infrastructure securitizations, including data center and GPU financings
  • Warehouse facilities
  • Receivables securitizations
  • Consumer loan securitizations
  • Affordable housing securitizations

Sylvia’s experience includes representing:

  • Harley-Davidson in its strategic partnership with KKR and Pimco
  • Coatue in connection with Blackstone and Coatue’s US$10 billion debt financing for Firmus Technologies to scale energy-efficient AI infrastructure
  • Blue Owl Capital on its:
    • Strategic investment, a nondilutive, nonrecourse royalty-backed loan of up to US$140 million, in XOMA Corporation*
    • Strategic investment, a US$300 million royalty financing and a US$450 million credit facility, in BridgeBio Pharma*
  • Blue Owl Capital and HealthCare Royalty on a US$250 million term loan facility with TG Therapeutics*
  • Uber Technologies on its:
    • US$5 billion investment-grade revolving credit facility*
    • US$4 billion investment-grade bond offering*
