William Council

William Council is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. William is a member of the firm’s Finance Department and the Banking & Private Credit Practice.

William represents financial institutions, borrowers, and private credit funds on a wide variety of finance transactions, including acquisition financings, syndicated loan transactions, and liability management transactions.

Prior to joining Latham, William was an associate at another major international law firm, where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions.
