Weng Kay (Nicole) Phung is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's Corporate Department.

Nicole represents corporate and private equity clients and focuses on a range of corporate matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions.

Nicole trained in the firm’s London office, gaining experience in the Banking & Private Credit, Litigation & Trial, and Entertainment, Sports & Media practices.

Nicole’s experience includes advising:

  • Verisure, a leading provider of professionally monitored security services in Europe and Latin America, on its €13.7 billion IPO, the largest-ever European private equity-backed IPO to date
  • The England & Wales Cricket Board on eight strategic franchise partnerships for The Hundred
  • The consortium led by Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises Global Football Group on its acquisition of a majority stake in Rangers Football Club
  • Marv and This Day on their investment in Best Intentions Analytics, the multi-club ownership company that owns Brentford Football Club
  • Ares Management Corporation on the US$3.7 billion acquisition of GLP International
