• CVC on the:
  • Strategic investment in Dream Games, the developer and publisher of globally renowned mobile games Royal Match and Royal Kingdom
  • Acquisition of a majority stake in Professional Services, Inc. (“PSI”) (The Medical City), a Philippines-based network of private hospitals and clinics
• BPEA EQT Funds V and VI and portfolio company Vistra (BPEA EQT) on the merger of Vistra with Tricor, an existing BPEA EQT Fund VIII portfolio company, in a transaction that values the combined company at an enterprise value of US$6.5 billion. This transaction was awarded the Private Equity Exit of the Year (Large Cap) at AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards 2023 and Best Private Equity Deal: Hong Kong at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2023
• TPG on the:
  • Acquisition, together with Hong Leong Group, of International Medical University (IMU), a private health science university in Malaysia, from IHH Healthcare Bhd
  • Acquisition as part of a consortium comprising TPG, Singlife, Sumitomo Life Insurance Company, and others of Aviva Singapore 
• Vingroup Joint Stock Company on the investment of KKR into Vin-Schools, a Vietnam-based K-12 education system
• ORIX Asia Capital on its investment in FWD Group Holdings, a Hong Kong-based insurance company
• Warburg Pincus on the:
  • Strategic merger of two of its existing portfolio companies, D&J China and New Ease China, two of the leading new economy infrastructure platforms in China, and its related equity financing
  • Series C Financing for PT Achilles Advanced Systems (dba OnlinePajak), an Indonesia-based developer and operator of a web-based tax application
• Baring Private Equity Asia on its US$150 million investment into Virtuous Holdings Pte Ltd, an international content production company specializing in video game development and 3D art production
• Permira on its KRW800 billion acquisition, as part of a consortium with regional Asian PE house Affinity Equity Partners and Korean corporate GS Retail, of German listed DeliveryHero’s Korean food delivery business, trading in Korea as Yogiyo
• Ruangguru, an online education platform in Indonesia, on a US$55 million Series C2 funding round led by Tiger Global and GGV Capital
• Aspex Management on its Series E investment as lead investor into Klook, an online travel activities and services booking platform company
• HLT Healthcare, a joint venture created by TPG Capital and Hong Leong, on the acquisition of Columbia Asia Healthcare, a Malaysia-based healthcare company that operates 17 hospitals and a clinic across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam
• Lodgis Hospitality Holdings (a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus) on the investment into ACDL, a Canada-based real estate company and indirect owner of The Grand Ho Tram Strip, a resort hotel with casino and golf course in Vietnam
