Stuart McRobbie is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Mr. McRobbie represents public and private companies and institutional investors. He advises on strategic mergers and acquisitions, private equity buyouts and disposals, joint ventures, restructurings, and general corporate matters. 

Mr. McRobbie has experience advising clients across a range of industries including financial services, technology, energy and infrastructure, and life sciences.

Mr. McRobbie has also tutored corporate law on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.

Mr. McRobbie’s experience includes advising:

  • Silver Lake in its investment in New Zealand Rugby, a national rugby union team
  • Agility, a supply chain services, infrastructure, and innovation company, on its acquisition of John Menzies plc
  • One of the UK’s largest pension funds on the acquisition of various wind farms and its investments into other forms of renewable energy*
  • A multinational energy company on its acquisition of a 50% stake in a mid-development 1GW wind farm (and related joint venture arrangements)*
  • A luxury goods conglomerate on its acquisition of an online premium beauty retailer*
  • A NASDAQ-listed SPAC on its business combination with an international healthcare provider*
  • A NASDAQ-listed corporation on two separate multi-billion dollar carve-outs*
  • Multiple leading European and US private equity sponsors on their multi-billion dollar buyouts and secondary sales*
