Stuart McRobbie is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Stuart represents public and private companies and institutional investors. He advises on strategic mergers, acquisitions and disposals (with a particular focus on complex carve-outs), joint ventures, restructurings, and general corporate matters.

Stuart has experience advising clients across a range of industries including energy and infrastructure, industrials, and technology.

Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Stuart undertook an energy-focused training contract in Aberdeen and subsequently had a focus on energy work with an international law firm.

    • The merger of its UK upstream oil & gas business with NEO NEXT (an existing JV between Repsol and HiTec Vision), in exchange for a 47.5% interest in NEO NEXT
    • Its EUR 2.2 billion joint venture with Masdar, pursuant to which TotalEnergies and Masdar will combine their respective onshore renewables businesses in Asia
    • Its ongoing investment in Adani Green Energy, a listed India-based provider of renewable energy
