    Dr. Simon Wizemann is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins’ Frankfurt and London offices.

    Simon advises financial sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and corporate clients on complex private equity and M&A transactions across Europe and internationally, including minority investments, co-investments and management incentive arrangements.

    Prior to joining Latham, Simon worked in the Frankfurt and Hong Kong offices of another global law firm.

    Experience

    Simon’s experience includes advising:

    • A consortium led by Bridgepoint Credit and Alcentra on the sale of BARTEC to One Equity Partners*
    • Global Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of VTG*
    • One Equity Partners on various investments and portfolio companies, including
      • The acquisition of a majority stake in DESMI*
      • The acquisition of Fortaco*
      • Several bolt-on acquisitions for Fortaco*
    • A consortium comprising Partners Group, OTPP, and La Caisse (formerly CDPQ) on the sale of the Techem group to a consortium comprising Partners Group (Infrastructure), GIC, TPG and Mubadala*
    • Warburg Pincus on
      • Add-on acquisitions for its portfolio company Infoniqa, including BRZ and HS - Hamburger Software*
      • Add-on acquisitions for its portfolio company blau direkt, including MAXPOOL*
