Scott Yousey is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice. He provides strategic legal counsel to a diverse range of clients, including public and private companies, secured and unsecured creditors, and equity holders. Scott advises clients with respect to:

Scott's experience spans multiple industries, where he has adeptly guided clients through complex transactions and litigation. Leveraging his background as a concert saxophonist, Scott brings creativity and a nuanced understanding of the legal landscape to deliver innovative solutions that align with clients' business objectives.

Scott maintains an active pro bono practice, including work on behalf of the Consumer Bankruptcy Project, assisting New York City residents struggling with consumer debt in filing for bankruptcy relief. He also collaborates with Sanctuary for Families, assisting victims of domestic violence secure relief under the Violence Against Women Act.

Before joining Latham, Scott refined his experience at a leading international law firm, practicing all aspects of restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy law.
