Sara Méndez is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Sara joined the firm in 2024 after graduating from Yale Law School. While in law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Yale Law Journal. She also worked as a student attorney for the New Haven Legal Assistance Immigrant Rights Clinic, where she represented clients in their petitions for asylum. Sara received her bachelor’s from New York University, where she was an AnBryce Scholar and graduated magna cum laude from the College of Arts & Science. 

Prior to joining Latham, Sara was a 2L diversity fellow in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
