Samantha Daisy is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Samantha advises public companies of all sizes, including newly public issuers, Fortune 500 companies, and cross-border entities, on US securities law, governance, and disclosure matters, including compliance with Exchange Act disclosure requirements, proxy rules, insider trading rules, stock exchange governance rules, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and related regulations.

Her clients include a broad range of industries across tech, biotech, entertainment, and sports.

Samantha also has experience in ESG reporting and policy development, shareholder activism defense, broker-dealer regulatory work, and investment adviser filings.

While attending law school, Samantha served on the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law and as Chair of Columbia’s Society of International Law.

Samantha maintains an active pro bono practice, representing victims of domestic violence, individuals seeking asylum, and end-of-life planning.

Prior to law school, Samantha served as a Peace Corps volunteer for three years in Guyana, South America.
