Rikesh Gandhi is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Tax Department.

Rikesh advises on the UK and international tax aspects of M&A, finance, restructurings, incentives, and investment funds.

Prior to joining Latham in 2026, Rikesh was a tax associate at the London office of a leading US law firm and had trained as a solicitor at the London office of a Magic Circle law firm.

Rikesh’s experience includes advising:

  • Advising ECP and its consortium on its recommended offer of £5.75 billion for DCC Energy plc
  • Bansk Group, a consumer-focused private investment firm, on entering into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in BYOMA*
  • Advent on the acquisition of a majority stake in Reckitt’s Essential Home*
  • Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on its acquisition of a 50% controlling stake in Opella from Sanofi, for an enterprise value of €16 billion*
  • K1 Investment Management on its strategic growth investment in Board Intelligence*
  • Oriflame on the group’s debt restructure*
  • BC Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in PetLab Co*
  • Antin on the close of the largest infrastructure flagship fund above €10 billion in 2024*
  • Pollen Street Capital on the closing of its €1.5 billion Fund V*
