Rachel Collier advises both public and private companies and investment banks on a wide variety of corporate and securities matters, with a particular focus on representing public companies throughout their life cycle.
Rachel’s practice includes representation of issuers, underwriters and investors in public and private offerings of debt, equity and derivative securities. She also works with private equity investors and public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions and reorganization transactions. Rachel has particular experience with clients in the energy, technology and hospitality sectors.

Prior to joining Latham, Rachel worked as in-house counsel at a publicly traded company headquartered in Austin. Her experience in-house has made her an asset to the firm and afforded her a unique insight into the business needs and priorities of clients ranging from emerging growth companies to mature public companies as they navigate the complex securities regulatory landscape in pursuit of strategic corporate and growth initiatives.
