Saem Kim is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Emerging Companies & Growth Practice. Saem represents emerging and established startups throughout their lifecycles, as well as venture capital and growth investors that invest in startups. She advises clients on a broad range of matters, including:

  • Capital raising, including venture-backed and other financings

  • Equity incentives and employment matters
  • Securities law compliance

Saem maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently advising senior individuals with their life planning documents.

  • DFJ Growth, a prominent investor in emerging technology, on Endor Labs’ US$93 million Series B financing round
  • Nalu Medical, Inc., a private company focused on innovative non-opioid solutions for chronic neuropathic pain, on its US$65 million equity financing
  • Tinybird, a data platform tackling complex real-time analytics challenges, on its US$30 million Series B funding round
  • Axios HQ, a communications software company spun off from Axios, on its US$20 million Series A funding round
