Panagiotis Kokkinidis is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Mr. Kokkinidis advises clients on a wide range of EU competition law and regulatory issues, with a particular focus on merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI) control.

His experience covers several industry sectors including aviation, manufacturing, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Kokkinidis worked as a trainee at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission, where he focused on merger control issues in the transport sector.

  • Abcam, a biotech company, on FDI and merger control aspects in its US$5.7 billion sale to Danaher
  • Bain Capital in its acquisition of F.I.S. Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici, a manufacturer of chemical products for the pharmaceutical industry
  • Syneos Health, a biopharmaceutical solutions company, on merger control and FDI aspects of its US$7.1 billion sale to a consortium of private investment firm affiliates
  • One Rock Capital Partners in its acquisition of Constantia Flexibles, a global packaging manufacturer
  • ProMach, a packaging machinery company, on merger control and FDI aspects of its sale to funds managed by BDT Capital Partners
  • A leading manufacturer of medical devices on behavioral aspects of its business activities
