Paloma Arizón is an associate in the Corporate Department of the Madrid office of Latham & Watkins. She primarily advises national and international clients from various industries on general corporate matters, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructuring processes, and corporate finance transactions. She has also assisted companies on capital market transactions and regulatory proceedings before the CNMV and the Bank of Spain.

Ms. Arizón has experience advising on the following areas:

  • KKR on the restructuring of the financial debt and disposal of industrial holding Grupo Gallardo Balboa
  • Eurona on the restructuring of its debt using judicial approval (homologación)
  • Bolsas y Mercados Españoles’ (BME) Board of Directors on the all-cash voluntary friendly tender offer by SIX Group AG, the Swiss financial markets infrastructure operator, for 100% of the share capital
  • Triton Partners in the acquisition of Fertiberia, a Spain-based company that manufactures and markets fertilizers and agricultural chemicals, from Grupo Villar
  • Financing services firms on outsourcing processes before the bank of Spain
  • Financing services firms on the regulatory implications and opportunities of Brexit in Spain
