Nima Pourdad is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Mr. Pourdad represents clients on a variety of transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters across a range of sectors. 

Prior to qualification, he trained in Latham’s London and Washington, D.C. offices, gaining experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and leveraged finance.

Mr. Pourdad maintains an active pro bono practice, representing charities and vulnerable individuals. 

Mr. Pourdad's experience includes advising:

  • EQT on the sale of Rimes, a global leader in enterprise data management solutions for the investment industry, to Five Arrows, the private equity arm of Rothschild & Co.
  • Equistone Partners Europe and CH&CO, a provider of premium contract and hospitality services in the UK and Ireland, on the £475 million sale of CH&CO to Compass Group UK & Ireland
  • Paragon Partners and cunova on the de-SPAC transaction with SEDA
  • Goldman Sachs, Bowmark Capital, and Aston Lark on the sale of the Aston Lark group, one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers
  • Agility, a supply chain services, infrastructure, and innovation company, on its take-private acquisition of John Menzies plc (trading as Menzies Aviation)
  • Inflexion on its reinvestment into K2 Partnering Solutions, a global technology and staffing specialist
