Latham Advises DAZN on Acquisitions of EverPass Media and ViewLift
Latham & Watkins has advised DAZN, the world's leading sports entertainment platform, on its acquisition of EverPass Media, a market-leading US commercial sports distribution platform, and its acquisition of ViewLift, a provider of streaming and digital solutions for content owners deeply embedded in US sports.
The acquisition of EverPass Media accelerates DAZN's expansion in the United States and completes the global launch of DAZN for Business. By combining DAZN's global scale, premium sports content, technology capabilities, and commercial distribution expertise with EverPass' market-leading position in US commercial sports distribution, the deal creates the foundation for the next generation of commercial sports experiences. The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory clearances. At completion, RedBird Capital Partners, the NFL, and TKO will join DAZN as shareholders, further strengthening DAZN's position in the US market.
The acquisition of ViewLift bolsters DAZN's growing momentum in US regional sports. It follows DAZN's recent agreements to become the exclusive direct-to-consumer streaming home of MSG Networks and YES Network for the 2026–27 NBA and NHL seasons, as well as a new exclusive regional media rights partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves. ViewLift will operate as a standalone business unit within DAZN, providing an expanded suite of streaming, fan engagement and monetization solutions to help sports organizations grow audiences and deepen relationships with fans.
