Nathanael Po is an associate in the Singapore office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Nathanael advises private equity sponsors and corporates on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic investments. He also represents issuers and underwriters in a range of capital markets transactions, including high-yield debt offerings and US-registered offerings.

Nathanael’s experience includes advising:

TPG Capital, through its subsidiary Columbia Asia Healthcare, on the acquisition of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, a Malaysia-based healthcare joint venture. This transaction was awarded Best M&A Deal: Malaysia at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2024
CVC on the acquisition of a majority stake in Professional, Inc. (PSI) (The Medical City), a Philippines-based network of private hospitals and clinics
An Asia-headquartered real estate fund on multiple acquisitions in Asia for the purpose of creating a new global business services platform, Ascentium
Japfa, a pan-Asian industrial agri-food corporation, on its offering of US$300 million 7.95% senior secured notes due 2031
The lead managers on Biocon Biologics’ US$800 million 6.67% senior secured notes due 2029. This represents the first USD bond issuance by a biopharmaceutical company in Asia Pacific, and the largest debut issuance from a high-yield-rated issuer from India in the past 10 years.
