Mikolaj Orzazewski is an associate in the Restructuring Practice in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Mikolaj acts on a broad range of matters in connection with financial restructurings and distressed and insolvency-driven transactions for various stakeholders, including corporates, boards, creditors, and insolvency officeholders. 

Mikolaj also has experience with new money financings (in particular real estate finance) across Europe and the Middle East. 

Mikolaj’s experience includes advising: 

  • Standard Profil Automotive GmbH, a leading European and global automotive supplier, on the restructuring of its c. €350 million financial indebtedness by way of a UK scheme of arrangement* 
  • Thames Water, the UK’s largest water utilities provider, on its £3 billion recapitalization implemented through a UK restructuring plan*
  • Petrofac Limited, a UK oil and gas services provider, on its proposed restructuring involving the equitization of c. US$770 million of existing secured debt and injection of US$350 million of new money*
  • Accolade Wines, Australia’s leading wines producer, on its debt-for-equity restructuring*
