Michael David Harris is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Finance Department.

Michael represents financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and private equity firms in a variety of financing matters including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and workouts for both domestic and cross-border transactions.

Michael has successfully supported large cap, middle-market, and emerging companies in a variety of industries.

Michael serves on the firm’s Recruiting Committee, and plays a prominent role in the community as an Associate Board Member for Chicago Debates.

Prior to joining Latham, Michael was a finance associate at an international law firm.

Michael also served as a Sergeant in the US Army Reserve.

  • Comvest Credit Partners in the refinancing of a term loan credit facility for Diesco Industries, Ltd., a cross-border beverage packaging and bottler producer with operations various parts of Latin America
  • A market-leading private credit manager as the agent and issuing lender in its repricing of a term loan facility and revolving credit facility for one of the largest private insurance brokers in North America
  • Monroe Capital in a term loan facility and revolving credit facility for Vanterra, a portfolio company of Percheron Capital
  • A private credit provider in a term loan and revolving credit facility for a global leader in providing digital engagement technology
