Megan Ampe is an associate in the Tax Department of Latham & Watkins’ Los Angeles office. Ms. Ampe advises clients on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.

Ms. Ampe represents public and private companies on employee benefits and executive compensation matters relating to:

  • Corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings (IPOs), spin-offs, restructurings, and other corporate transactions
  • Structuring and maintaining benefits and compensation plans and arrangements, including equity and other incentive-based compensation
  • Public company representation, including preparing proxy materials and securities filings related to executive compensation matters
  • Designing and implementing various executive compensation and other service provider arrangements, including employment, separation, severance, and change in control agreements

Ms. Ampe earned her JD from UCLA School of Law, where she graduated sixth in her class and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, she was an articles editor of the UCLA Law Review.
