Matty McColl is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.

Matty received his JD from UC Berkeley School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.

While in law school, Matty served as a research assistant to Dean Erwin Chemerinsky and as the development editor of the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law. He also served as a student lawyer in the NIL Practicum, advising student athletes on sponsorship deals.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Matty was a summer associate in the Los Angeles office. He previously worked as a judicial extern for Judge Amy Berman Jackson in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
