Marco Zacchino is an associate in the Finance Department of Latham & Watkins London office and a member of the Banking & Private Credit Practice.

He focuses on advising direct lenders, private capital funds, and alternative capital providers on investing across the capital structure, from senior secured to junior debt, and hybrid capital instruments. He works closely with many of the key US and European credit funds on complex, cross-border financing transactions, and his practice spans performing and stressed credit.

Marco has completed client secondments at Goldman Sachs, Blackstone Credit, and CVC Credit. 

Marcos experience includes advising:

  • HPS Investment Partners LLC, as sole lender, on the £485 million refinancing of Sage plc, the UK's specialist in products and services for people over 50
  • A private credit lender on the US$43 million acquisition of a leading global software company
  • Two private credit lenders in relation to the financing of the acquisition of online education service providers*
  • Senior lenders in connection with the financing of the acquisition of a construction equipment rental chain*
  • A private credit lender in connection with a £116 million refinancing*
